We support UNIFEM

UNIFEM is the United Nations’ development for women, dedicated to advancing women’s rights and achieving gender equality around the world. With 30 years’ experience, UNIFEM’s premise is that it’s the fundamental right of every woman to live a life free from discrimination and violence, and that gender equality is essential to achieving development and to building just societies. UNIFEM concentrates its efforts on four areas:

  • Reducing poverty among women
  • Ending violence against women
  • Increasing women’s political participation
  • Reversing the spread of HIV/AIDS among women and girls

UNIFEM relies on voluntary financial contributions in order to carry out its work.
